Savannah and Sarah, also known as The Church Sisters, grew up in southwestern Virginia. The girls began singing publicly after winning the WAKG Rising Stars Talent Competition in 2007. They then formed a family band with stepdad, Jay and brother, Seth and started touring their home state playing for small and large audiences. The Church Sisters released their first gospel album titled “Farther Along” at only 12 years old. Followed by two more self produced albums: “There’s You” and a self titled album. They were granted the opportunity to open for Brandon Heath on the Blue Mountain tour in 2012, playing for audiences across the midwest. They’ve also been featured on television shows, “Larry’s Country Diner”, “Country’s Family Reunion” and Daystar Networks “Gospel Music Showcase”. They’ve recorded albums alongside artists such as Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, Brad Paisley and many others. The Church Sisters have worked with Grammy award winning producer, Carl Jackson on compilation albums “Mark Twain: Words and Music” and “Orthophonic Joy”. In 2016, The Sisters signed their first record deal and started working on their debut country record with Grammy award winning producer, Julian Raymond. They released “A Night At the Opry” in May of 2018. Traveling to fairs and festivals nationally and internationally, The Church Sisters have made many impressive appearances at the Ryman Auditorium and the Bridgestone Arena where they sang back up vocals for Eric Church and Hank Williams Jr. at the 2017 CMA’s.

After taking a break from making music together at the end of 2019, Sarah and Savannah made the decision to announce their reunion in 2022. The Church Sisters are now scheduling shows again featuring some of their most requested songs along with brand new material. Stay up to date with them as they are working on a new album with a release date to be announced!
